Stat Scanner
View base stats, EVs, IVs, Hidden Power type, and movesets. The most important tool in the game.

From Log's assistant in Frozen Heights (Difficult+: after 50 owned Pokémon; Vanilla: post-game)
UPGRADES
Upgrade 1: Complete Basic Literacy mission → teach Move Tutor moves and relearn forgotten moves. Upgrade 2: Obtain Black Trainer Card → edit EVs, IVs, Nature, Ability, gender, and evolve Pokémon directly.
On NG+, upgrades carry over. Sandbox Mode starts with fully upgraded version.
Motorcycle
Fast travel across the overworld. Reduces wild encounter rate to 60% of base.

Wild Pokémon less likely while riding. Cannot use DexNav search while riding.
Dowsing Machine
Detects hidden items in the overworld.

Mining sparkles are yellow underwater and green in Crystal Peak for visibility.

Doubles EV gains from battle.

Power Items can also be upgraded to give up to 80 EVs per KO via Black Belt outside Antisis Thundercap entrance.
